We are a longstanding dynasty league searching for one good owner. We have been in existence for over 20 years as an AL-only league. Back in 2007 we made a move to add a sister NL-only team. Now if a player changes leagues he still stays on your team. As a 12 team one-league only team - the player pool is limited and you get to exhibit your roster management skills. Each roster has 10 starting hitters (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF and 2 DH) and 8 pitchers (at least three of the pitching slots must be filled with a pitcher who is SP eligible). Each team has 10 minor league slots available. Only players who have minor league eligibility (based on ABs for hitters and IP for pitchers) are eligible for the minor league slots. Each team (AL and NL) has a league fee of $60.
The available team has a stacked NL team with such players as Freddie Freeman, Javier Baez, Jean Segura, Krist Bryan, Eric Hosmer, Marcel Ozuna, Corey Seager, Clayton Kershaw, Raisel Iglesias, Archie Bradley, and Jacob deGrom. This team also has some fine minor league talent in Alec Bohm, Travis Swaggerty and Drew Waters. The AL team has such players as Chris Sale, Andrelton Simmons, Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Jose Berrios, Aaron Sanchez and Danny Salazar. This team also has Jo Adell in the minors. The NL team was in the playoffs last seasn. $$. With the 10 minor league slots you can grow your teams into powerhouses.
We compete head-to-head each week against one or two teams in 12 categories (BA, OPS, HR, R, SB RBI and W, Sv, K, WHiP, ERA and Holds). At the end of the week (stat period) you have a won-loss record. The cumulative won-loss records dictate the division winners and who is in the playoffs.
There are three divisions and one wild card entry into the playoffs. The playoff format is a one week head-to-head battle in the semi-finals and a two week head-to-head for the title. Last season the clear favorite in the AL was upset in the first round.
