Happy hump day everyone. Welcome to the Minor League Ball Morning Report. Here’s a quick look at the best of Tuesday.

****Yesterday’s Gameday discussion is here.

****A lot of action in the Greenville, Kingsport Appy League game last night. Jonathan Willems, the Reds 19-year-old second base prospect, hit for the cycle with three RBI. One of those RBI was Jonathan India, who posted an 0-fer, but walked three times and scored two runs. On the Mets side, recently promoted Jarred Kelenic blasted his first Appalachian League home run, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.

****San Diego Padres rookie lefty Eric Lauer posted his second strong start, now defeating the Diamondbacks and Dodgers in his last two starts. Lauer went 8.2 innings, allowing four hits and one run with eight strikeouts.

**** The Braves Cristian Pache launched his seventh home run of the season. For those still worried about his power development, it appears to be coming along nicely.

****Bobby Dalbec was one of Minor League Ball’s 3 prospects to watch this week because of his recent power surge. Just two days into the week, he delivered with a 4-for-4 performance including his Carolina League-best 20th and 21st home runs and five RBI. He has now homered in five of his last eight games.

****With the abundance of catching prospects in the Yankees organization, Ricky Keeler of Pinstriped Prospects takes a look at a few to watch.

****Doc Herbert takes a look at Braves breakout pitcher Bruce Zimmermann at Talking Chop.
