Good morning everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Morning Report for Thursday, May 24th, 2018. Here’s a quick review of yesterday’s events in prospectland.

****Cleveland Indians rookie Adam Plutko threw six shutout innings against the Chicago Cubs, giving up four walks but just two hits while fanning four.

****Toronto Blue Jays prospect Cavan Biggio went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI for Double-A New Hampshire, raising his season line to .304/.429/.689 with 12 homers, 30 walks, and 41 strikeouts in 135 at-bats.

****Tampa Bay Rays outfield prospect Jesus Sanchez went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles for High-A Charlotte. He’s up to .358/.371/.556 for the Stone Crabs.

****Washington Nationals prospect Carter Kieboom went 4-for-4 for Potomac in the High-A Carolina League, bringing his slash up to .298/.399/.458.

****Baltimore Orioles farmhand Wilson Garcia went 4-for-6 with two homers and seven RBI for High-A Frederick. Garcia began the season in the Philadelphia Phillies system but his contract was sold to the Orioles on the first of May. Since reporting to Frederick he’s hitting .390/.415/.688 in 77 at-bats. Garcia is a 24-year-old first baseman/catcher from Venezuela.
