Discussion: Baseball’s bloodlines run deep in the minors

The Toronto Blue Jays sure seem to think baseball is a family affair.

There has always been a strong sense of family in Major League Baseball. Right now in the minor leagues, it seems like there are more than ever before.

Recently, in our look at prospects we expect to debut in 2019, Milo33 commented on the future shortstops piece that he felt like he was getting old based on how many familiar last names were on that list alone. Fathers and sons, uncles and nephews, brothers and cousins. They are seemingly everywhere these days. Especially on the Toronto Blue Jays.

So, I wanted to start a list. Please read the following sentence:
