Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Monday, October 22nd, 2018. The 2018 World Series begins tomorrow but in the meantime we have Arizona Fall League games to track.

****Glendale takes on Peoria at 12:35 mountain time this afternoon. Ben Holmes of the Los Angeles Dodgers system will start for the Desert Dogs while Bubba Derby from the Milwaukee Brewers system will take the hill for the Javelinas.

****In the second afternoon game, Surprise will host Salt River behind starter Evan Kruczynski of the St. Louis Cardinals system. Luis Reyes from the Washington Nationals organization will take the mound for the visitors.

****In the nightcap at 6:35 mountain time, Scottsdale will send Houston Astros megaprospect Forrest Whitley to the mound against visiting Mesa and starter Gregory Soto from the Detroit Tigers system.
