COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY

****Philadelphia Phillies rookie Rhys Hoskins hit two more homers yesterday, a pair of solo shots against the Miami Marlins. Hoskins now has 16 home runs in his first 32 major league games, along with an excellent 23/26 BB/K ratio in 114 at-bats.

****Tampa Bay Rays prospect Ryan Yarbrough threw seven shutout innings for the Durham Bulls against Scranton in Game One of the International League championship.

****Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Brandon Waddell threw six shutout innings for Altoona against Trenton in Game One of the Eastern League championships.

****Los Angeles Dodgers infield prospect Drew Jackson went 2-for-4 with three RBI for Tulsa against Midland in Texas League finals Game One action.

****Seattle Mariners prospect and 2016 first-rounder Kyle Lewis went 3-for-5 with two RBI for Modesto against Lancaster in California League play.

****Boston Red Sox prospect Bobby Dalbec went 2-for-7 with two RBI for Salem against Kannapolis in South Atlantic League action.
