No tags, only qualifying offers, makes for a deep free agent class every year and a chance to easily turn around a franchise

125 salary cap

No required fee, but rather a pool. You pay if you think your team can win and want to bet on it.

Two teams from each division make the playoffs each year, making for intense rivalries and great races for the playoffs. The last month of the regular season is really the start of the playoffs.
