Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Monday, June 5th, 2017.

The 2017 MLB Draft is one week out and I’m buried in draft prep at the moment. Here’s your daily discussion spot for minor league action.

****Yesterday’s Highlights can be found in the Sunday discussion thread.

COOL STUFF FROM SUNDAY

****Seattle Mariners prospect Daniel Vogelbach went 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBI for Triple-A Tacoma in the Pacific Coast League. He’s now hitting .298/.402/.477, a very Vogelbachesque slash line.

****Milwaukee Brewers prospect Lucas Erceg went 4-for-5 for High-A Carolina in the Carolina League, driving in three. He received a lot of hype pre-season but is having a mediocre campaign thus far, hitting .222/.262/.343 so far with five homers, nine walks, and 38 strikeouts in 207 at-bats.

****Oakland Athletics prospect Paul Blackburn threw seven shutout innings for Triple-A Nashville, fanning four and allowing just two hits and one walk. He now has a 3.26 ERA in 61 innings with a 45/16 K/BB.
