Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Thursday, April 20th, 2017. Let’s get down to business.

****Today’s Minor League Scoreboard

****Today’s MLB scoreboard

****Beyond the Boxscore’s excellent daily MLB summary

****Yesterday’s Highlights can be seen in the Wednesday discussion thread.

YESTERDAY’S HIGHLIGHTS

****Seattle Mariners rookie Mitch Haniger went 3-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored against the Miami Marlins, raising his season line to .323/.432/.597 in 62 at-bats.

****An outstanding start for Cincinnati Reds rookie Amir Garrett yesterday: 12 strikeouts in seven innings against the Baltimore Orioles, giving him a 21/3 K/BB in 19.2 innings with a 1.83 ERA.

****Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Monte Harrison went 3-for-4 for Low-A Wisconsin, moving his season slash line to .326/.367/.500. A note of caution is a 2/13 BB/K ratio, so we’ll have to see if he can maintain the momentum as the pitchers adjust to his aggressive approach.

****A 2-for-3 game from Cleveland Indians first base prospect Bobby Bradley for Double-A Akron, with a home run and five RBI. He’s hitting just .184 but three homers in 12 games with a .360 OBP and .421 SLG.

****Eight strikeouts over seven innings of work from St. Louis Cardinals pitching prospect Jordan Hicks. He now has a 1.37 ERA in 19.2 innings for Low-A Peoria with a 15/5 K/BB.
