I am now working on the Cincinnati Reds Top 20 prospects for 2017 list. The next team in line is the Seattle Mariners, to be followed by the San Diego Padres to finish the process. After that we will review and revise all team lists to account for trades and work on a Top 175 prospects lists for all of MLB.

Use this thread to discuss the Seattle Mariners organization. Possible points for discussion include, but are certainly not limited to:

****The 2016 edition of the Mariners finished at 86-76, second place in the American League Western Division. What do you realistically expect for 2017? Do they fall back towards .500, or do they make a charge for 90+ wins and a division crown?

****There have been large roster changes this off-season, with Jean Segura, Danny Valencia, Mitch Haniger, and Max Povse arriving while Taijuan Walker, Ketel Marte, Alex Jackson, and Zack Littel depart. Your opinion of the changes?

****The big rookie contributor in '16 was reliever Edwin Diaz. What do you expect from him going forward?

****Your timetable for prospect Tyler O'Neill?

****As always, share your sleepers or any other Mariners-oriented ideas or information you have.
