****New York Mets right-hander Zack Wheeler has a torn elbow ligament and while very likely require Tommy John surgery, knocking him out for 2015. Internal options to cover for Wheeler include Dillon Gee, Rafael Montero, Noah Syndergaard, and Steve Matz. The most likely candidate appears to be Gee, but since he's a veteran that's not very fun to speculate about.

So let's say that you are the Mets, and for whatever reason you can't put Gee in that spot or make a trade. Which of the prospects do you use? Does Montero get first dibs because he has more big league experience? Or do you go for Syndergaard's upside? If those two struggle, how soon would you be willing to move Matz up? And are there any sleeper candidates to consider?
