Update

**I am working on another Mock Draft although I don't know quite yet when it will be done. After that, I will start putting together my own personal ranking of the Top 100 draft prospects.

**We had originally planned to bring Matt Garrioch onboard Minor League Ball from MLB Bonus Baby to provide more draft coverage, but MLBBB fans made it clear that they wanted to keep that community going. Never let it be said that SBNation isn't responsive to the opinions and desires of our readers! Matt may still pop in here at Minor League Ball from time to time, but Bonus Baby will not only survive, but expand with new contributors!

**I'm working on some draft notes about infielders and hope to have it posted later this afternoon.

Mock question

Hey John,
What do you base the mock draft guesses on? Is it more talking to teams, assessing their historic patterns, or industry buzz? Would you say that this year is particularly hard given that so much of the top talent is college pitchers and so many teams drafting early seem undecided themselves?
