Rating last year's rookies-Community Prospect #7
Although this may be as far as it goes, Jeremy Hellickson extends the American League's streak streak out to 6 in a row, It's also the second pair of team mates in the first 6.
1. Brett Lawrie, 3b Toronto Blue Jays (51%)
2, Eric Hosmer, 1b Kansas City Royals (57%)
3. Michael Pineda, P Seattle Mariners (38%)
4. Dustin Ackley, 2b Seattle Mariners (41%)
5. Desmond Jennings, of Tampa Bay Rays (47%)
6. Jeremy Hellickson, P Tampa Bay Rays (49%)
The voting breakdown for the sixth round round after Hellickson was: Freddie Freeman 20%, Brandon Beachy 10%, Moustakas 5%, Brandon Belt 5%, Dominic Brown 5%, Paul Goldschmidt 2%, Cory Luebke 2% (write in), Salvador Perez 2% (write in), Henderson Alvarez, Aroldis Chapman and Jason Kipnis all at 0%.
I'm going to keep everyone who got at least 5% of the vote and also Cory Luebke who only got 2% but was due to come onto the ballot anyway.. Paul Goldschmidt goes off the ballot for now but will come back in 1-2 rounds. Salvador Perez goes into the testers group but will get a chance within the next 2-3 rounds. We'll rotate back in Jemile Weeks and Mark Trumbo.
In rotation: Chris Sale 0% (round 4), Kyle Drabek 0% (round 4), Zach Britton 0% (round 4), Wilson Ramos 0% (round 5), Jordan Walden 0% (round 5), Craig Kimbrel 0% (round 5), Danny Espinosa 0% (round 5). Ivan Nova 0% (round 5), Henderson Alvarez 0% (round 6), Paul Goldschmidt 2% (round 6), Aroldis Chapman 0% (round 6), Jason Kipnis 0% (round 6)
We'll give Danny Duffy a first chance on the ballot this round. This leaves as testers for the upcoming rounds:
Vance Worley, Salvador Perez, Josh Collmenter, Kenley Jansen, Jose Altuve, Lucas Duda, Dayan Viciedo and Juan Nicasio.
As always voting is by +1 and there are places below to suggest testers or vote for players not currently on the ballot.
So who is your number 7 prospect for future performance among last year's rookies?

comparison
I’m going to go to bat for Luebke here at bit, in comparison to Beachy.
Stats - we’ll stick with the basics:
Beachy: 3.68 ERA, 141.2 IP, 125 H, 46BB, 169 SO, 1.20 WHIP
Luebke: 3.29 ERA, 139.2 IP, 105 H, 44BB, 154 SO, 1.07 WHIP
3/4 of Luebke’s innings were in the rotation. Lueb job is 26 vs Beachy’s 24. But as far as rookie campaigns, they both excelled beyond what folks thought. Luebke also called Petco home. However, I think his performance gets a bit overlooked.
Just sayin…

He's a few rounds away at the earliest
But once we get past positional players and starting pitchers who actually did well (not the big prospect names who didn’t do much), I think Craig Kimbrel will be a good choice and then soon after Kenley Jansen.

Is there a reason no one has mentioned him?

That's a good point, I kind of forgot he should be eligible for this
Definitely deserves to be in the rotation of testers. I’d probably take him over any of the available pitchers other than Beachy and perhaps guys like Luebke and Duffy.

he is in rotation
probably won’t get him on the ballot this round, but probably will for round 9.
