*Clay Buchholz will pitch 5.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits, 3 walks, 3 strikeouts, one homer allowed, no decision in a 7-5 Red Sox victory. UPDATE: I posted that without checking to see if the game had already started. I was stuck in some sort of time warp I guess, but I'll leave the original post up.
*Book Recommendation: Unholy Alliance: A History of Nazi Involvement with the Occult by Peter Levenda. This book draws mixed reviews from professional historians and some of Levenda's conclusions and suppositions are suspect. However, the book is a fascinating read, and draws on a wide range of sources not previous examined. If you have an interest in the World War II, the Nazis, but also weird esoterica like Aleister Crowley, Themela, Theosophy, and various bizarre and unusual spiritual matters, you might enjoy this.
