The ballots were ten players deep. My ballot went Jimmy Rollins, Prince Fielder, Chipper Jones, Hanley Ramirez, Matt Holliday, Albert Pujols, David Wright, Miguel Cabrera, Chase Utley, and Carlos Lee. I have taken some crap about ranking Rollins first, but I'd point out in my defense that his WARP-3 is 11.7, exactly the same as Holliday's. That is not why I made the decision, but it shows that it is defensible. The dude hit 30 homers, 20 triples, stole 41 bases in 47 attempts, and is an above-average defensive shortstop.

This isn't relevant directly to the MVP vote, but check out Jimmy Rollins' historical comps by Sim Score, through age 28.
