Will the Braves ever lose this division? How long will the latest Florida rebuilding effort take?

There is NO EXCUSE for the Phillies and the Mets not to compete every year. . .both teams should have plenty of financial resources at their disposal, but are, currently at least, hampered by mediocre farm systems. The Mets continue to try short-term fixes but have been less successful at this than their cross-town AL counterparts. The Nats meanwhile had a nice first season but have a very weak farm system and will have to improve it if they want to compete in the long run.

So, do the Braves win again in 2006? And what happens in '07 and beyond?
