I am feeling much better today. Friday morning, I woke up at 1:00 AM with the shivvers, spiking a fever. It ended up getting as high as 103 degrees, with severe headache and muscle aches. It started to subside yesterday afternoon, and by this morning I seem fine, if a bit tired and sore.

Jeri calls this "John's Annual Mystery Ailment." Usually in early or mid-January, a few days after the book is done, something like this happens. . .I start running a fairly high fever, start feeling awful and sick, feel flu-ey. But it is usually over within 48 hours.
