Here I am, checking in from Java Joe's in Des Moines. I saw some good stuff in Omaha, and tonight I'll be in Cedar Rapids, then Burlington for Tuesday and Wednesday.

A few brief tidbits:

Justin Huber has excellent power to right-center field. I think he will be ready next year, assuming the Royals don't find a way to mess him up.

Jason Botts is very, very vulnerable to changeups on the outer half of the plate. He also swings through breaking balls more than he should. He did look better from the right side as opposed to the left. I'll have to check the numbers to see if that impression holds up statistically.

I think Ian Kinsler is for real, although his batting average and OBP may go up-and-down a bit. But his power is legit.
