Jeremy Sowers

You are the farm director of the Cleveland Indians.

Your first round pick from last year, Vanderbilt lefty Jeremy Sowers, is currently in the Class A Carolina League and pitching very well. He is 3-1 in 4 starts, with a 2.91 ERA and 21/1 K/BB ratio in 21.2 innings.

Also pitching extremely well for Kinston are right-hander Nick Pesco and lefty Rafael Perez. Pesco is 3-0, 1.08 in 4 starts, with a 21/3 K/BB in 25 innings. Perez is 3-0, 0.38 in 4 starts, with a 21/3 K/BB in 24 innings.

Pesco is 21 years old. Perez is 22, turns 23 in mid-May. Sowers is 21, turns 22 in mid-May. Perez has the best fastball, but Pesco's velocity is also above-average. Sowers throws the softest, but has the best command, granted all three are throwing strikes very well right now.

The question: if your Double-A team needed a starter right now, who would you promote to Double-A first? Sowers, Pesco, or Perez?
