Upton: What Is To Be Done?

New, 46 comments

B.J. Upton is hitting .329/.383/.452 in 18 games for Triple-A Durham. Although he hasn't hit a home run yet, he does have 9 doubles. His bat is ready or very close to ready. The problem remains defense: he's made 12 errors already at shortstop.

Question: what would YOU do with B.J. Upton? Your choices are

A) Leave him at shortstop permanently;
B) Give him a couple more months then move him to another position if he doesn't improve;
C) Move him to third base now;
D) Move him to outfield now.
