Home from running errands and seeing Fever Pitch with my wife. It's a pretty decent movie I thought, standard light-hearted romantic comedy fare, but with two of my favorite things added, Drew Barrymore and baseball. Jimmy Fallon wasn't as annoying as I expected. Overall, a decent date flick.
My Answers to Discussion Questions: I would want Carlos Quentin at the plate in the critical situation, as I think he has the best combination of polish, power, and experience in pressure situations of anyone in the minors. To pitch against the Yankees, I'd go with either Matt Cain or Chad Billingsley.
