Ronny Cedeno and David Kelton

Ronny Cedeno

Ronny Cedeno: Venezuelan shortstop praised by Cubs officials. 22 years old. The first thing I noticed about him was that his uniform pants looked too big for him. He has excellent arm strength, also has good range; I like his glove.
His bat I'm not sure about. He has a decent-looking compact, level swing, and he makes contact, but he doesn't work the count especially well, and what pop he has is to the opposite field.

David Kelton

David Kelton: Impressive size, and considerable power. Will crush a mediocre fastball, but will chase stuff high and away and low out of the zone. Not effective against breaking balls, and his plate discipline has not improved over the last two years.
