"At the age of 27, I made my major league debut, posting an 8-10 record in 26 starts, an ERA a bit better than league average (ERA+ 106), and helping my team get to the post season and do well there. The next season, I made 14 starts, again with an ERA a bit better than league average (ERA+ 104), before hurting my arm.
