"As a 22-year-old rookie, I hit .306 with 16 home runs, 70 walks, and 75 strikeouts. However, at age 23 I got hurt, and I wasn't fully healthy and in the starting lineup again until age 27. Although I only hit higher than .300 one more time, I did produce considerable power and was one of the most feared sluggers in the game between the ages of 29 and 34. Although I am not in the Hall of Fame, at my peak I was as good as many Hall of Famers, and if I had not gotten hurt early in my career I may have made it. Who am I?"
