Many good ideas have been contributed in the open thread. Tomorrow (Monday) we should be fully operational, with an open thread per day plus an analytic or informational post of some sort. The email subscription newsletter will start up next Sunday, February 20.
There are a lot of interesting ideas and observations being posted by readers in the diaries, which you can access with the menu on the right. From time to time I will draw attention to particularly interesting or insightful posts.
