John's Favorites: Favorite Young Lefthanded Starter
I started working on John's Favorite Major League pitcher this morning, and found that I was having a hard time narrowing it down. So I will break this into parts: Favorite Young Lefty, Favorite Young Righty, Favorite Old Lefty, Favorite Old Righty, and Favorite Closer.
We begin with John's Favorite Young Lefty: Dontrelle Willis of the Florida Marlins. I love watching him pitch. I love the leg kick. I love the movement on his pitches. He looks like he enjoys his work. And you have to love the results this year: 22-10, 2.63, 170/55 K/BB in 236 innings. FIVE shutouts.
