Steve Pearce, 144 others hit free agency

The off-season is officially underway.

Less than 24 hours after being announced as the Most Valuable Player of the 2018 World Series, Steve Pearce has become a free agent.

His three home runs, eight RBI’s, and .333 batting average paced everyone in a Red Sox uniform — and now he’s available to every team in the league.

Earlier today, the MLBPA announced the list of 145 players hitting free agency this off season. Several names could still join the list as club and player options may, or may not, be exercised. But for now, here’s a list of the players hitting the market.
