Hi, this is Jeri, posting on the big kid account. We were supposed to have everything in place for taking newsletter orders yesterday, but as usually happens with us, we have had a glitch.
The site I use to update our website www.johnsickels.com is completely down, and we are awaiting news from the help desk people.
Basically, you can place an order any time, using YOUR Paypal screen, the 'send money' option, and send either $34.95 if you are re-subscribing or $39.95 if you are new. The subject line of the Paypal MUST READ: "newsletter new subscription" or "newsletter renew".
IF YOU USE ANY 'PAY NOW' BUTTON ON THE WEBSITE, IT WILL RESULT IN THE WRONG AMOUNT BEING PAID, BOOKKEEPING CONFUSION FOR ME, AND I'LL BE FORCED TO LAUGH THE LAUGH OF THE CRIMINALLY INSANE WHILE TRYING TO FIX IT.
Put a note in the 'notes' section if you have an email address OTHER than the Paypal email address.
If you feel like you can wait to get signed up for a few days, then wait until we get the 'pay now' button set up. I'll make a post then, and send out an email to last year's subscribers to remind them.
The newsletter doesn't start until around the 2nd week in March, so you won't miss anything.
