This afternoon, MLB released the rosters for the 2018 Arizona Fall League. The league consists of six clubs divided into Eastern and Western divisions:

EASTERN DIVISION

Mesa Solar Sox (Red Sox, Cubs, Tigers, Angels, Athletics)

Salt River Rafters (Diamondbacks, Rockies, Marlins, Twins, Nationals)

Scottsdale Scorpions (Reds, Astros, Phillies, Mets, Giants)

WESTERN DIVISION

Glendale Desert Dogs (Orioles, White Sox, Indians, Dodgers, Yankees)

Peoria Javelinas (Braves, Brewers, Padres, Mariners, Rays)

Surprise Saguaros (Royals, Pirates, Cardinals, Rangers, Blue Jays)

The Fall League should be especially exciting this year. The top prospect in all of baseball, Blue Jays outfielder Vladimir Guerrero Jr., will be playing for Surprise, while Houston Astros right-hander Forrest Whitley, pitching for Scottsdale, is probably the top arm in the minors.

The league begins on October 9th and we will be providing coverage and analysis for all the top prospects; we’ll point out plenty of sleepers, too.
