What happened yesterday?

Good morning everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Morning Report for Thursday, June 14th, 2018. Here are some tidbits worthy of notice.

****Atlanta Braves rookie Mike Soroka gave up just one hit and one walk while striking out four in his start against the New York Mets.

****Fellow Braves prospect Max Fried had an excellent start for Triple-A Gwinnett, giving up one run on three hits over seven innings while striking out 11.

****Outfielder Juan Soto went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs for the Washington Nationals, also drawing a walk while driving in four.

****Los Angeles Angels prospect Jo Adell went 3-for-4 with a home run for High-A Inland Empire. He’s hitting .378 over his last 10 games.

****St. Louis Cardinals prospect Dakota Hudson threw eight shutout innings for Triple-A Memphis against Albuquerque, giving up four hits and four walks while striking out six. Teammate Tyler O’Neill provided the offense, going 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and three RBI.
