Good morning everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Morning Report for Tuesday, May 8th, 2018. Here are some items worthy of your attention.
****We will start organizing the 2018 Minor League Ball Community Mock MLB Draft next Monday, May 14th.
****Minnesota Twins rookie Fernando Romero threw six shutout innings in his second major league start, giving up three hits and three walks while striking out nine against the St. Louis Cardinals.
****New York Yankees rookie Gleyber Torres went 1-for-4 with a walk-off game-winning three-run homer against the Cleveland Indians. He’s now hitting .327/.357/.500 in 15 MLB games.

****Chicago Cubs pitching prospect Trevor Clifton threw six shutout innings for Double-A Tennessee against Jacksonville, giving up one hit and two walks while fanning nine.
