What happened yesterday in prospect-land?

Good morning everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Morning Report for Friday, April 27th, 2018. Let’s do a quick summary of yesterday’s events.

****Atlanta Braves rookie phenom Ronald Acuña Jr went 3-for-4 with his first major league home run against the Cincinnati Reds.

****Toronto Blue Jays prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr went 3-for-4 with three RBI for Double-A New Hampshire. He’s hitting .353/.407/.529 through 17 games. Teammare Bo Bichette went 2-for-5 and is hitting .303/.376/.434.

****Miami Marlins prospect Monte Harrison went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI for Double-A Jacksonville. He’s hitting .225/.345/.380 but has been hitting better of late. Teammate Isan Diaz went 4-for-5 with a home run and is hitting .366 over his last 10 games for an overall mark of .243/.368/.414.

****Cincinnati Reds prospect Shed Long went 2-for-3 with two walks and three runs scored for Double-A Pensacola, hitting .361/.432/.486 overall.
