Happy Saturday, Minor League Ball community. A lot of action today. Before we get started on Saturday, let’s take a look at some of yesterday’s stars.

Justus Sheffield (Yankees) looked ace-like, striking out nine and walking just two in 5.2 innings of one-run ball. The command is what has been holding Sheffield back, so this is a step in the right direction.

Another day, another home run for Juan Soto. He hit his fourth of the season, and thus far, he’s used all fields. Here was our first look at Soto on Opening Day in case you missed it.

Josh Naylor (Padres) homered for the second-straight day and now leads MiLB with six home runs.

Steven Sensley (Yankees), he of immense power, went 3-for-3 for Charleston, smashing his second home run of the year.

Joey Wentz (Braves) was sharp in Florida, going five innings with six strikeouts.
