Hello everyone and welcome to the Arizona Fall League morning roundup for Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Here’s what happened in the AFL yesterday:

Glendale 9, Peoria 5

Every time I get the AFL discussion, the Desert Dogs do work. Three Glendale hitters — the Yankees Thairo Estrada, the Orioles Steve Wilkerson, and the White Sox Luis Robert — had two RBI apiece, as Robert continues to put on a show in the desert. The White Sox young star has hit in ten straight, now hitting .366 with a .409 OBP, including three-straight two-hit games.

Salt River 4, Surprise 3

Cole Tucker led the way with two hits for Surprise while Bryan Reynolds did most of the run damage with two RBI. It was Monte Harrison’s ground out in the 10th that scored the game-winner for the Rafters.

Scottsdale 5, Mesa 4

Guess who hit a home run? The Mets Peter Alonso had two hits, one of which was a two-run blast in the fourth, his fifth of the fall (sixth including the Fall Stars Game). He drove in three of the Scorpions five runs. Nico Hoerner was amongst three Solar Sox to rack up two hits, while Daz Cameron scored two of Mesa’s runs.
