I am now working on the Seattle Mariners Top 20 prospects for 2019 report. The next team in line is the New York Mets, to be followed by the Baltimore Orioles, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Cleveland Indians, the Chicago Cubs, the Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals.

Use this thread to discuss the New York Mets system. Possible points for discussion include, but are certainly not limited to:

***The Mets finished 77-85 in 2018, fourth place in the National League Eastern Division. What do you expect for 2019? Can they get to .500 or beyond?

***The youngest regular in the Mets lineup is Amed Rosario, age 23. He’s three or four years away from his theoretical peak. What do you expect? How much can he improve?

***Do you have any hope for Dominic Smith?

***What are your plans for Peter Alonso? Is he the first baseman on Opening Day?

***2018 first round pick Jarred Kelenic drew good reviews in rookie ball. Do you send him to the New York-Penn League in June, or can he open 2019 in full-season ball?

***In general, are you happy with the farm system? What would you do to improve?

***As always, discuss your sleeper prospect or anything else Mets-oriented.
