Results from my first run through the Marlins prospect list

I’m working on the Miami Marlins Top 20 prospects for 2018 list. My first run through the research group gave the following results:

Grade A: Zero
Grade A-: Zero
Grade B+: Zero
Grade B: Four
Grade B-: Six
Grade C+: 19
Grade C: 27

I have to say it is not quite as bad as I expected. There is an obvious lack of definite top-tier guys, however they have a large number of C+/B- types, particularly on the pitching side, and several of them have the potential to move up.

This isn’t final. There is a lot of mushiness around the C+/B- gradient and it is plausible that one of the Bs could wind up at B+.
