The season’s winding down. Let’s talk prospects!

Yesterday, there was a lot of pitching to be discussed in the intro to the MiLB Gameday thread. Today, it’s the bats that get the highlights.

Fernando Tatis, Jr. has now hit in six straight. He got there with a four-fit performance last night. Not bad for an 18-year-old in Double-A.

Tyler O’Neill hits a lot of home runs. He’s now homered in four of his last five, with 11 home runs since coming over to the Cardinals.

Kevin Josephina went 5-for-5 with four RBI in the Rome Braves’ rout of Columbia.

DUEL OF THE DAY: Dane Dunning vs. Mike Shawaryn

Dillon Tate and Brent Honeywell also throw today, so there is plenty of young arms to watch.
