The minor league baseball season came to an end last night with the Triple-A Championship Game. The Durham Bulls of the International League defeated the Memphis Redbirds of the Pacific Coast League by a 5-3 score, thanks to a grand slam home run from second baseman Kean Wong. Tampa Bay Rays top pitching prospect Brent Honeywell earned the victory, throwing 2.2 innings of relief work.

OTHER STUFF THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY
****Chicago White Sox rookie Lucas Giolito threw 6.2 solid innings against the Houston Astros, fanning three with one walk, seven hits allowed, and two runs. Not exactly a dominant outing and the White Sox lost the game, but a credible performance.
****Oakland Athletics rookie Matt Olson hit another bomb, now homering in five straight games.
****New York Yankees rookie Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 against the Minnesota Twins and has hit .310 with five homers and nine walks in his last 10 games.
