Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Tuesday, September 19th, 2017. Here you go.

The minor league season is at an end, with just one game left this evening: the Durham Bulls vs. the Memphis Redbirds in the International League vs. Pacific Coast League in the Triple-A Championship Game. Ryan Yarbrough will pitch for Durham, with Dakota Hudson taking the mound for Memphis.

COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY

****Oakland Athletics rookie Matt Olson homered in his fourth consecutive game, giving him seven bombs in his last 10 and 22 overall in 172 at-bats on the season.

Question: who will have a better career? Olson, or Philadelphia Phillies slugging rookie Rhys Hoskins?

SUGGESTION QUESTION FOR THE HOUSE:

What kinds of things would you guys like to see discussed in this space? We will continue Gamedays through the end of the Arizona Fall League and once the AFL gets going there will be plenty to talk about again, but in the meantime how should we focus discussion?

Your ideas?
