COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY

****Washington Nationals rookie prospect Victor Robles went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored against the Atlanta Braves.

****Pittsburgh Pirates pitching prospect Mitch Keller gave up two runs over 7.1 innings for Double-A Altoona against Trenton in the Eastern League finals, fanning eight with just one walk and four hits allowed.

****Tampa Bay Rays pitching prospect Brent Honeywell threw six shutout innings for Triple-A Durham in the International League finals against Scranton, giving up five hits and one walk while fanning 10.

****Houston Astros pitching prospect Patrick Sandoval, drafted in the 11th round in 2015 from high school in California, threw six shutout innings for the Quad Cities River Bandits against Fort Wayne in the Midwest League finals, striking out a pair with six hits and one walk. Sandoval has some sleeper markers and should be watched for a breakout in 2018.
