We all know the deal here.

Tonight we go to bed like 2-year-olds on Christmas Eve. We wake up to find out what prospects were naughty or nice and get their big league debuts tomorrow.

Our own Eric Cole has been tirelessly working on two big articles to help ease our anxiety and perhaps cast some foreshadowing on what we can expect. First, he took a look at quite a few possibilities for September call ups. Then, he highlighted some of the bigger names heading to the desert this October, with a look at the Arizona Fall League rosters.

This has also been a busy week for us, adding Matt Powers to our group of writers. He made his debut with a look at Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. Though he isn’t on the list for September call ups, he has skyrocketed about as much as any prospect not named Ronald Acuña this year.

There’s a lot of TBD’s out there on the verge of rosters expanding. That said, names like Luiz Gohara, Kolby Allard, Triston McKenzie, Freicer Perez, Dylan Cease and AJ Puk are scheduled to take the bump today.

Without further ado, here’s the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Thursday, August 31th, 2017. Let’s get down to business!
