****Cincinnati Reds outfield prospect Phillip Ervin went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI against the Chicago Cubs.

****Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Tyler Glasnow continued mowing down Triple-A hitters, fanning 10 over 6.2 innings for Indianapolis in their contest with Buffalo. He has a 40/4 K/BB in his last four starts.

****Tampa Bay Rays prospect Willy Adames went 3-for-4 with a home run and a pair of runs scored for Triple-A Durham against Syracuse. He’s hitting .333 in his last 10 games.

****Making his debut for Double-A Corpus Christi in the Texas League against Tulsa, Houston Astros prospect Forrest Whitley threw six shutout innings, giving up only two hits. He didn’t walk anyone while striking out 11. He’s only 19 years old.

****Oakland Athletics prospect Franklin Barreto went 4-for-5 with a home run and three runs scored for Triple-A Nashville against Memphis.
