Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Wednesday, July 26th, 2017. Let’s get to it.

****Today’s Minor League Scoreboard

****Today’s MLB scoreboard

****Yesterday’s Highlights can be found in the Tuesday discussion thread.

COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY

****Los Angeles Dodgers prospect Willie Calhoun went 3-for-5 with a home run for Triple-A Oklahoma City. He’s now hitting .304/.355/.592 with 23 homers, 29 walks, and just 46 strikeouts in 358 at-bats.

****Tampa Bay Rays shortstop prospect Willy Adames went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI for Triple-A Durham. He’s up to .272/.365/.419 with 53 walks and 91 strikeouts in 360 at-bats, quite credible for a 21-year-old in the International League.

****Colorado Rockies shortstop prospect Brendan Rodgers went 3-for-5 for Double-A Hartford in Eastern League action. He’s hit well lately and is now up to .262/.336/.430 in 107 at-bats after being promoted to the Yard Goats.

****Chicago White Sox prospect Lucas Giolito threw seven shutout innings for Triple-A Charlotte, giving up four hits and three walks while fanning six.

****New York Yankees outfield prospect Estevan Florial went 3-for-4 with Low-A Charleston in the South Atlantic League, raising his season line to .299/.376/.491. He’s got some strikeout issues but I think the tools are legit and people in long-term fantasy leagues with farm systems should take a close look at him.
