Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Thursday, July 20th, 2017. Let’s get to it.

****Today’s Minor League Scoreboard

****Today’s MLB scoreboard

****Yesterday’s Highlights can be found in the Wednesday discussion thread.

COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY

****Philadelphia Phillies rookie outfielder Nick Williams went 2-for-4 yesterday, his fourth straight game with two hits. He’s now hitting .316/.349/.614 in 57 at-bats since being promoted from Triple-A. He also has three walks against 16 strikeouts and it will be interesting to see if MLB pitchers start working him differently following his hot start.

****Fun game for Oakland Athletics prospect Matt Olson yesterday: 1-for-2 with a homer, four walks, three runs scored and four RBI for Triple-A Nashville.

****Atlanta Braves pitching prospect Mike Soroka threw seven strong innings for Double-A Mississippi, giving up two hits and two runs, walking nobody while fanning 12.

****St. Louis Cardinals catching prospect Carson Kelly went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI for Triple-A Memphis.
