Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Tuesday, July 18th 2017. Let’s get to it.

****Today’s MLB scoreboard

****Yesterday’s Highlights can be found in the Monday discussion thread.

COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED ON MONDAY

****Philadelphia Phillies prospect Nick Fanti threw a nine-inning no-hitter for Low-A Lakewood, fanning 12 with just one walk. He now has a 2.52 ERA in 89 innings with a 94/17 K/BB and only 61 hits allowed. I don’t have a current scouting report on him but will research it.

****Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Lewis Brinson went 4-for-7 for Triple-A Colorado Springs against the Omaha Stormchasers. He’s now hitting .344/.413/.573 in 241 at-bats for the Sky Sox.

****Houston Astros outfield prospect Jason Martin went 4-for-4 with a home run and two doubles for Double-A Corpus Christi in the Texas League. He’s now hitting .301/.323/.556 in 153 at-bats since being promoted from High-A.

****Arizona Diamondbacks prospect Daulton Varsho, drafted in the compensation round this year from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, went 4-for-5 with five RBI yesterday for Hillsboro in the Northwest League. He’s hitting .375/.423/.611 in his first 72 professional at-bats.
