COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED ON SUNDAY

****Outstanding game from Chicago White Sox prospect Reynaldo Lopez for Triple-A Charlotte: one run in seven innings on two hits and two walks, with 12 strikeouts.

****The Houston Astros promoted right-hander Franklin Perez to Double-A and the Los Angeles Dodgers promoted right-hander Walker Buehler to Triple-A.

****Astros prospect J.D. Davis went 3-for-4 for Double-A Corpus Christi. He went 2-for-3 with a home run on Saturday and is hitting .285/.345/.520 with 21 homers overall.

****Texas Rangers prospect Yohander Mendez allowed one run on six hits and a walk in seven innings of work for Double-A Frisco in the Texas League, fanning eight. He now has a 3.78 ERA in 112 innings with a 96/38 K/BB and 90 hits allowed.
