COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED FRIDAY

****Cleveland Indians prospect Yandy Diaz went 3-for-5 with Triple-A Columbus. He’s now hitting .337/.437/.464 in 181 International League at-bats. Not much left to prove there.

****Toronto Blue Jays prospect Danny Jansen went 3-for-4 with three runs scored for Double-A New Hampshire, moving his season line up to .308/.403/.451. The 22-year-old catcher has thrown out 29% of runners but has very low passed ball and error rates.

****Chicago Cubs prospect Isaac Paredes went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for the Low-A South Bend Cubs in the Midwest League. He’s been hot lately, hitting .375 in his last 10 games, moving him up to .273/.359/.423 on the season.

****Detroit Tigers pitching prospect Gregory Soto had an excellent game for Low-A West Michigan, fanning 11 over six shutout innings against Cedar Rapids.
