Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Tuesday, June 20th, 2017. Let’s get started.

****Today’s Minor League Scoreboard

****Today’s MLB scoreboard

****Yesterday’s Highlights can be found in the Monday discussion thread.

COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED MONDAY

****Boston Red Sox prospect Rafael Devers went 2-for-6 with a home run and two RBI for Double-A Portland. He’s homered four times in his last 10 games and is now hitting .302/.358/.573 on the seasons with 14 bombs.

****Chicago Cubs prospect Eloy Jimenez went 1-for-4 with a home run for Myrtle Beach in the High-A Carolina League on June 18th. On June 19th, playing Carolina League Home Run Derby, he hit a homer that knocked out a light tower light, like Roy Hobbs in The Natural.

***My main goal this week is to catch up with the backlog of prospect reports that were delayed by last week’s focus on the 2017 MLB Draft. First on the list was Matt Chapman of the Oakland Athletics, who is unfortunately now sidelined with a knee infection. We will still write him up of course, although Derek Fisher of the Houston Astros will go first now.
