Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Wednesday, November 15th, 2017. Here are some highlights from Tuesday’s action in the Arizona Fall League:

*****The Glendale Desert Dogs defeated the Mesa Solar Sox by a 5-1 score. Philadelphia Phillies third base prospect Zach Green went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored for the victors. Oakland Athletics infield prospect Sheldon Neuse went 2-for-4 with a home run for the Sox.

*****The Salt River Rafters beat the Peoria Javelinas 11-4. The Rafters offensive attack was led by Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Monte Harrison (2-for-4, HR, three RBI), Colorado Rockies first baseman Brian Mundell (3-for-3, two walks, two runs scored) and Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander (2-for-5, double, triple, three RBI).

*****The Surprise Saguaros nipped the Scottsdale Scorpions 6-5. San Francisco Giants right-hander Tyler Beede threw five strong innings in the losing cause, giving up two runs on six hits with a strikeout, receiving a no-decision after the bullpen blew the game. Texas Rangers catching prospect Josh Morgan went 2-for-4 for the victors.
