Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Minor League Ball Gameday discussion thread for Wednesday, November 1st, 2017. Here are some highlights from Tuesday’s slate of Arizona Fall League contests.

*****San Francisco Giants pitching prospect Tyler Beede gave up two unearned runs in four innings for the Scottsdale Scorpions in their 6-2 victory over the Glendale Desert Dogs. Beede gave up just two hits and no walks, fanning four.

*****Atlanta Braves prospect Ronald Acuna continued terrorizing Fall League pitching, going 3-for-5 with a home run in Peoria’s 9-2 victory over Surprise. He’s now hitting .377/.462/.698. Teammates Austin Riley of the Braves system and Franmil Reyes of the San Diego Padres system also homered, as did Texas Rangers outfielder Michael O’Neill in the losing cause.

****The Salt River Rafters defeated the Mesa Solar Sox 8-2, with home runs from Baltimore Orioles prospect Ryan Mountcastle, Milwaukee Brewers prospect Corey Ray, and Miami Marlins farmhand Rodrigo Vigil.
